Building Maintenance/Construction Trade

 
Program Description
 
Students will gain the knowledge and skills required for employment in the
building maintenance or construction industry by building a complete house in the lab. Students who complete the full-time program receive tools and additional training in measurement techniques, job search resources, and other skills necessary for successful employment. This program involves a combination of hands-on lab work and related classroom instruction.

  • Construction Print Reading
  • Carpentry I, II, III
  • Residential Wiring, I, II
  • Plumbing I, II
  • Masonry and Tile
  • OSHA 10-Hour Certification
  • 1st Aid & CPR Certification
  • Heating & Air Conditioning
  • HVAC Installation
  • Finish, Fixture & Device Installations

High School Diploma or GED, Required TABE Scores: Reading - 7 , Math - 7
