Carpentry Students at TCTC Lend a Hand

There are many examples of making a difference for others, but the carpentry students at the TCTC supplied the best possible example.  They used their skills to make needed repairs for a senior citizen.

After being contacted by the Make a Difference foundation, students under the direction of their program instructor, Bill Eliser, tore down an existing stoop that had fallen away from the house, and built new steps to make it more accessible for the home owner.  They also installed a mailbox that had fallen down.

This activity was part of Make a Difference Day sponsored by the Warren Tribune.  The materials for the project were paid from donations received by the Make a Difference Foundation.
