The TCTC Culinary Arts Team received a silver award in the FCCLA regional competition held at Akron University on February 24th. They had 90 minutes to complete a menue of herbed chicken, parsley potatoes, Juilenne vegetables, spicy tomato basil soup and chocolate layer cake. They had to do 4 identical plates of each dish. This year's team was composed of Stephanie Saum from Badger High School and Shayne Benner and Jake Guthrie both from Hubbard High School.
Such attractive meals are an every day feast and available to the public in the TCTC "Cove". Mrs. Brigitte Gilles who is responsible for developing these young culinary talents invites the public to stop in and sample some of thier offerings.
