ECE Winners Going To Sate

After a long abscence from the competition scene, the Early Childhood Education program students had a fantastic day at the Family Career and Community Leaders of America competitions held at Akron University on February 24, 2007. Students taking home the gold include:

• Samantha Thatcher, a senior and junior Heidi Huff who earned their gold medals in the Language and Literacy competition. Samantha will represent the TCTC at State competition in Columbus on April 19.

• Heather Dye, a senior who earned her gold in the area of Concept Curriculum. Heather will be going to State competition in April.

• Junior Tori Pugh who paced first in developing a Teacher Resource Kit. Tori will be reperesenting the TCTC in this area in Columbus in April.

• Our Senior team in the Early Learning event which was made up of Nicholle Del Vecchio, Monica Knisely and Stephanie Simmons. These students will all be going to Columbus in April.
