TCTC Students Take First Place Finishes at State FFA Competitions held in Columbus

On April 24, 25 and 26, Mrs. Billock and Ms. Street took over 50 students to the State FFA Competitions held in Columbus. These events give our students the opportunity to showcase their skills while competing with other regional winners from all over the State. Many of the schools that we compete against are four year schools (9th grade through 12th), while our students only have two years of instruction. The following three students have taken home the gold as the best in the state in thier respective catagories:

 

   Elliott Kazimer - Senior from Newton Falls - First Place in Landscape and Nursery Events

 

Jasmine Casey - Senior from Liberty - First Place in Skills Classics 

 

Kerry Murphy - Junior from Girard - First Place in Animal Management
