Lieutenant James A. Williamson

The TCTC Public Safety Program is pleased and honored to recognize the outstanding service of Lieutenant James A. Williamson of the Howland Fire and EMS Training Center.

In his capacity as both a primary firefighting Instructor and Supervisory Coordinator for the Howland Fire Department, Lt. Williamson has provided the highest level of educational, logistical and administrative support for the Ohio Firefighter I and II courses of study.

During a decade of service here, Lt. Williamson has been a proven leader and valued partner in affording our seniors the opportunity to obtain professional grade training and credentialing in their chosen career field of firefighting. Notably, student achievement in this time frame included multiple classes with certification rates of 90% to100%, no easy task in such a unique and challenging high school environment.

On the personal side, Jim Williamson is equally valued for his sincere desire and unselfish efforts to creatively impart professional ethics, responsibility and integrity upon our future public servants, qualities truly appreciated by his peers and students alike.  His personal and profess-ional contributions to this institution as a capable, respected mentor and a caring role model to our Cadets cannot be overstated.

Accordingly, we are proud and privileged to recognize Lt. James A. Williamson for his outstanding service to the TCTC Public Safety Program.
