Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the Trumbull Career and Technical Center!

We are thankful for the opportunity to educate, train and to do our part to keep Trumbull County working. Since 1978, we have prepared approximately 30,000 students to be college and career ready. Our diverse student body is comprised of 11th and 12th grade students from all twenty Trumbull County school districts, as well as adult learners from Ohio, Pennsylvania, and beyond. Our School is led by a dedicated team of professionals with a commitment to provide quality education in a modern and safe environment, where failure is not an option.

Our curriculum affords high school students thirty-two career and technical programs, as well as exceptional academic offerings, including honor courses with college dual enrollment. The Adult Training Center offers nine full-time programs which can be completed in as little as nine months. Numerous part-time and personal enrichment courses are also available.

In 2013, TCTC was the only Ohio Career Center to be awardedthe Ohio Outstanding Technology Centers That Work award by High Schools That Work (HSTW),the nation’s largest school improvement initiative for high school leaders and teachers.  In 2014, we were proud to be selected as a HSTW Platinum High Achievement School, based on our success in school improvement and high student achievement. In 2019, TCTC was again recognized as an Apple Distinguished School for continued innovative integration of technology.  We are very excited to re-open our Manufacturing and Machining Technologies high school program for the fall of 2020.

I would like to personally thank the citizens of Trumbull County for your support. The Trumbull Career and Technical Center is an award winning, nationally recognized career center.  I invite you to tour our beautiful campus and see your investment in action. Open Houses are offered several times a year, or you may contact us to schedule a visit at your convenience.

I am proud of our staff and students and I am truly honored to be a member of the TCTC family.

Thank you,

Jason P. Gray, Superintendent

 Our students are most important.

They are as dependent on us as we are on them.

They are not visitors to our building –

They are the most important part of it.

We are not doing them a favor by educating them…

They are doing us a favor by giving us the opportunity to do so.
