I know that this year didn’t end how we wanted it to but I want everyone to remember that our graduation ceremonies and senior events are not what makes us who we are now or moving on in the future. It’s the people who we surround ourselves with and the memories we’ve made with our classmates that makes our class of 2020 the greatest graduating class.

Plans after graduation: I plan on continuing in the Welding field and would like to join the local plumbers and pipe fitters to become a journeyman welder. I also plan on sticking around the area for a while so I can visit the school frequently to share my experiences with upcoming classes.

I plan on attending YSU this fall and majoring in Biochemistry as part of the BaccMed program. As advice to my class, I would say to always be fearless in what you pursue, and to work relentlessly to it. Good luck in all endeavors and congratulations class of 2020.

I will be attending YSU, planning to dual major in Dental Hygiene and Dietetics. I plan to follow with postgraduate school for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.  I have loved attending TCTC. Coming from being homeschooled it has been an eye opening experience that has opened up so many opportunities to me. The students and staff are so accepting and have been amazing.

I wish the best success to all my fellow graduating seniors in whichever path you choose. Go on to do great things, work hard and be proud of all that you accomplish.

While we can't have the proper celebrations we have looked forward to for the last 13 years, let's do our best to make the most of this unprecedented time. Modern problems require modern solutions and everyone in this year's graduates of TCTC will lead society in their respective fields so these unfortunate circumstances are avoided in the future.

Plans For Future: In September I am moving to London in the United Kingdom to go to school at Regent's University London for Film & Screen(TV & Digital Media). I hope to work with the BBC afterwards to create television content and journalism for the broadcaster.

Who could have known that the joke “we don’t have 2020 vision” at the end of 2019 would be so true? Our senior year is going to end faster than we thought, and it was true. Fortunately, today we have the technology to keep in touch with one another, to stay a family. We have stayed strong, and we will be strong going forward with our future.

My future consists of going to Kent State University Trumbull to start out my major in zoology. After a year or two, I’ll finish my degree at Kent State University, and become the zoologist that the elementary me always dreamed of. I’m not sure which zoo I’ll work at, but I know I’ll be enjoying a career I love.
