The Electrical Technology senior class got a week-long training session in Home Security Systems from Mr. James Martin of Trumbull Security.  The students studied each component of a security system, drew their own layouts of possible systems and designed a special system for their own lab which  was installed  and programmed for use.  

 Since there will never be a shortage of criminals and the installation of high –tech security systems is constantly requiring trained installers there will be a growing need for good installers.  The students saw many of the principles that they have learned about electricity being put to use in the modern security system.
