1. Evaluate search engines that you have never used

      A.  Choose two search engines and/or directories that you have never used before from the chart below or from the Noodle Tools site we previewed.

      B. Go to each of the sites and type in the same keyword phrase. Select one of the searches below:

2. Evaluate  websites.

A. Choose one of the topics below and view the websites attached to that topic. Look critically at the sites listed under the topic. Use the checklists on the handouts or the site on evaluating websites we looked at in class.

B. Complete the evaluation chart to determine which site(s) would make the best source(s). Be certain to justify your choices with specific examples/information discussed related to web site evaluation. Rank your sites from 1-5 with 1 being the best site for research.
