The Literacy Team put together a three-year literacy plan based on the High Schools That Work Model. The plan includes the five literacy goals as outlined in our continuous improvement plan:

    1. Students will read the equivalent of 25 books a year.
    2. Students will write weekly in all classes.
    3. Students will use reading and writing strategies across the curriculum.
    4. Students will write research papers in all classes.
    5. All language arts classes will be taught at the honors level.
