The TCTC also offers two “Senior-Only” programs in the areas of Nail Technician and Emergency Medical Technician-Basic (EMTB). Upon successful completion of these one-year programs and passage of the licensure exam, students will earn a 12 point credential in their program of study. To graduate, a student must earn a varying number of credits of their home school district which ranges from 21- 26 units. Additionally, the class of 2018 and beyond must meet the new Ohio Graduation Standards. All students must also complete a Senior Capstone Project. This project may be shared with potential employers and/or post secondary admissions officers. TCTC students are also encouraged to participate in school endorsed Job Shadowing and Advanced Placement opportunities.
3 E's Campaign
During the 2016-2017 school year, the TCTC implemented a comprehensive school-wide initiative that is closely aligned with Ohio’s Career Advising program. This initiative is also known as our 3 E’s Campaign. Students are asked to choose whether or not they wish to Enroll in postsecondary education, Enlist in a branch of the armed services, or become Employed after high school. All staff and students are actively engaged in the process of finding a student's’ “E”, and planning for a successful transition after high school.

During the 2016-2017 school year 96.6% percent of our students were enrolled in Tech Prep programs, and 6% percent participated in College Credit Plus opportunities at TCTC in partnership with Youngstown State University and Eastern Gateway Community College.
