Medical Assistant
Program Description
The Medical Assistant is taught both clinical and administrative skills. Qualified students have the opportunity to become nationally certified by the American Association of Phlebotomy Technicians (ASPT) and the American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA) through examination. Cost of both exams, an iPad mini®, books, uniforms, and supplies are included in the course fee. The TCTC Medical Assisting program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of Medical Assisting Education Review Board (MAERB).
