College Credits

College Credit Plus Courses

Ohio’s College Credit Plus (CCP) can help you earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from community colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. Taking a college course from a public college or university College Credit Plus is free. That means no cost for tuition, books or fees. If you choose to attend a private college or university, you may have limited costs. The Trumbull Career & Technical Center has partnered with Eastern Gateway Community College to offer students the ability to earn up to 48 semester hours for free through CCP courses taught at TCTC.

Articulation Agreements

At TCTC, students are eligible to receive articulated credit for their career-tech program courses. These credits are between our school and the individual college (bilateral articulation).

CTAG Credits

Many of our career-tech programs include courses that offer CTAG credits. Students may qualify for these college credits by scoring well on their WebXams and/or earning credits in program courses.
