Ohio's TechCred Program gives employers the chance to up-skill current and future employees in today's tech-infused economy. The program encourages employers to partner with the training provider that will most effectively meet their needs. Eligible training providers include universities, community colleges, technical centers, and private training providers. TechCred will not reimburse employers for internal training or credentialing programs unless the same program is offered to the public and the cost is verifiable.

Employers who submit successful applications will be reimbursed up to $2,000 per credential when current or prospective employees complete eligible technology-focused credentials. When conducting credentialing programs with in-person elements, training providers must ensure they are in compliance with Ohio Department of Heath and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommendations.
